Frequently Asked Questions

Applications may be submitted to the Health Innovations Forum using our online application tool. The application is divided into two steps:

  • The first step is a preliminary assessment. It includes six questions seeking basic information about your health care solution. Your answers determine whether your proposed solution will pass the applicability and value proposition factors that large employers are seeking. Upon completing this step, you will receive a response within 5 business days informing you of whether you meet the criteria to proceed to the second step.
  • If approved, you will be asked to complete the full application. The application will ask you to share additional information about your company, its operational readiness and capabilities, as well as the cost and requirements to implement the solution.

The application will include questions on:

  • The Value Proposition for Employers
  • The Effectiveness of the Solution
  • Operational Capabilities and Readiness
  • Cost
  • Requirements for Implementation

There is no fee to complete the application. However, if selected to present to the Health Innovations Forum, there is a fee of $3,500 required to secure your spot.

The application will be open at all times; however, we will have specific deadlines for each of the three annual Board meetings to allow sufficient time for review and selection. Applications that come in after the deadline will be held until the next review period.

Applications are now being accepted for the March 2019 meeting. Both portions of the application must be complete by January 31st to be considered.

Note: The application consists of two parts; the first part should be completed no later than January 15th to allow time for review.

Applicants will receive a response within 5 business days of submitting their preliminary application. This response will either advance them to the full application, or terminate the process for those who do not meet the criteria for the large employer market. The second part of the application must be completed before the application deadline to be considered for the next HIF Board meeting.
