Health Innovation Forum

Why Apply?

The Health Innovations Forum (HIF) provides startups with compelling health care solutions three key benefits that magnify as they advance through the process. The benefits include:

Breaking into the large employer market is challenging. The Health Innovations Forum offers a process to help startups share their solution with a number of large employers. The opportunity for exposure increases at each stage of the process.

  • Completed applications will be shared with the 13 employers serving on the HIF Board. Startups that demonstrate the most compelling value proposition and greatest innovation will be invited to present in-person to the 34 employers and 2 consulting firms serving on both the Board and Council.

Startups coming through the Health Innovations Forum process have received
between 1 and 8 introductions with employers interested in learning more about their solution!

The Health Innovations Forum Board and Council are composed of experienced HR executives from leading-edge employers, including many of the world's largest companies. They know what solutions are needed, and what is required to make it work in a large employer setting. Startups invited to present to the Health Innovations Forum will not only gain exposure to this group of employers, they will also receive direct feedback on the solution they present.

  • Startups invited to present to the HIF Board will have the opportunity for an in-person exchange to discuss their solution with executives from leading companies. After the presentation, presenting companies receive a qualitative and quantitative report providing feedback from employers on their solution.

Startups that present to the Health Innovations Forum may be selected by a Business Group member company for a potential pilot — or to be further vetted on the potential for pilot. Through this process, startups will glean more insight into what is necessary for implementation in a large employer setting.
