The Health Innovations Forum (HIF) was established in 2015 to identify and evaluate technology or solutions-based startups with the potential to improve employee health and/or the efficiency, delivery or consumer experience within the health care system. The ultimate goal is to accelerate adoption of disruptive and effective innovations.
The HIF provides a venue through which startups can be assessed by HR and Benefits executives from several of the world's largest companies. Leveraging the Business Group platform, startups with the most compelling value proposition will gain exposure to and potential entry into the large employer market.
The Health Innovations Forum consists of NBGH member companies who comprise the HIF Board and Employer Council. Startups contacting these companies in an effort to circumvent the HIF process will be redirected to the Forum.
The Health Innovations Forum Board consists of leading-edge employers with a strong interest in innovation and experience as early adopters of new solutions. The Board will help assess the value proposition and operational readiness of startups offering new solutions for the large employer market.
The Employer Council is comprised of large employers who also have a strong interest in accelerating the adoption of effective solutions. Employer Council members join Board members at the triannual meetings to hear presentations from companies selected by the Board.
